Occasionally problems occur with the installation process.  The information on this page should resolve these issues.  We'll start at the beginning and work through some common issues.
 

Do you have the most current version of the 2xAV Plug-In?  
Check the following links to verify you have the most recent version of the plug-in.

Did InstallShield run?
No: Confirm you are running on a Windows95, Windows98, WindowsNT, or Windows2000 system.
Yes: see below.
Did InstallShield complete successfully?
No: If the installation while InstallShield is running, you may have to reboot your system and run the installation again.  Unfortunately this is a known problem with InstallShield and occurs when multiple installations of software (any type) are performed using InstallShield without rebooting the machine between installations.

Did Windows Media Player start and play the Enounce 2xAV Plug-In introduction?
No: Then the InstallShield process didn't complete successfully.  Please contact Enounce Support at support@enounce.com.

After Purchasing the 2xAV Plug-In and Registering, I get a message saying the "Evaluation Period has expired"?

This is a Registration problem, not an installation problem, but we'll walk through some situations that might cause this to occur.

  1. You have not registered with Enounce. (See the FAQ for instructions on how to register).
  2. You do not have an internet connection.  In this case you will need to send an email to us containing the serial code you received when you purchased the 2xAV Plug-In.

UnInstalling the 2xAV Plug-In for Windows Media Player.
  1. Click the Start button, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
  3. In the list of installed programs, select 2xAV Plug-In for Windows Media Player and then click Add/Remove.
  4. In the Setup dialog box, click Add/Remove.
  5. Reboot the machine:  Click the Start button, point to Shutdown and then select "Restart" and click "OK".
